How it works
An inexpensive, battery-powered device that can indicate the approximate number of people who are (or were) in a room.
The readings can be off by about 10% to 20% because two people going in or out at the same time can be considered one person. It gives a good indication of how many people were in a room and for how long. It can properly indicate when all the people left again and at what times there were no people.
Ideal for creating 'Smart Meeting Rooms' and 'Smart buildings'.
The built-in sensors record:
- People entering a room
- People leaving a room
- People standing in a doorway
- People passing in a corridor
